AMSOIL Championship Off-Road presented by Brunt Workwear has posted its 2027 schedule, and it covers a lot of ground. Seven confirmed nationals run from May 7–9 in Wheatland, Missouri to Oct. 8–9 at Glen Helen in Southern California. Champ also plans an Arizona finale after that. Every confirmed round already has its own race page in our Find a Race calendar, so you can start planning your summer of short-course racing now.
Coming off a season that went down to the wire
Champ says every pro-level championship in 2026 was decided at the season finale, and the series paid out more than $650,000 in prize fund money to racers last season. For 2027, the plan is to keep the Midwest tracks that built the series and keep pushing west.
"Our Midwest tracks and fans are the foundation of Champ Off-Road," said Carl Schubitzke in the series' announcement. "Continuing our westward expansion builds on that foundation, brings our racing to new audiences and creates more opportunities for our racers and partners."
Champ calls it a summer of high-speed, door-to-door racing. That means land-rush starts at Crandon, big jumps at Wheatland and side-by-side battles at ERX. When the car leaves the ground, the belts are what keep you planted in the seat.
It's Simpson's entry-level latch-and-link harness, and it comes with sewn bolt-in lap belts, wrap-around shoulders and sub belt, and the bolt-in anchors. You'll find more belts, pads and mounts in Restraints.
The 2027 Champ Off-Road schedule
Here are the seven confirmed rounds from Champ's announcement and event pages. Each one links to its race page on Find a Race:
- May 7–9: Show-Me Off-Road Shootout, Lucas Oil Speedway, Wheatland, Mo.
- June 4–6: Antigo Off-Road National, Langlade County Motorplex, Antigo, Wis.
- June 18–20: Forest County Potawatomi Brush Run, Crandon International Raceway, Crandon, Wis.
- July 22–24: ERX Off-Road National, ERX Motor Park, Elk River, Minn.
- Aug. 13–15: Island Resort and Casino Off-Road Rumble in the UP, Bark River International Raceway, Bark River, Mich.
- Sept. 3–4: Polaris World Championships, Crandon International Raceway, Crandon, Wis.
- Oct. 8–9: Glen Helen Off-Road National, Glen Helen Raceway, San Bernardino, Calif.
Crandon shows up twice. The Brush Run in June is the series' first visit of the year, and Champ calls the Brush Run pure off-road Americana. Then the series comes back for its signature Labor Day weekend event, the Polaris World Championships, with the land-rush starts, the downtown parade and the Crandon Cup.
Heading west
After Glen Helen, Champ plans to expand into Arizona. Series officials are working with two potential Arizona venues to finalize the location and date. Oct. 22–23 is the tentative window, and details will come once arrangements are complete. "Arizona has a strong off-road community, and it's an exciting next step in growing our western presence," Schubitzke said. Once Champ names the venue and date, look for the Arizona Off-Road National in Find a Race.
May is six months out, and that's plenty of time to go through your gear before the Wheatland opener. Short-course laps are short and busy, with your hands working the wheel the entire race.
External seams keep pressure points off your hands, and the breathable honeycomb fabric helps on hot summer race days. Suits, shoes and more gloves are in Safety Apparel.
One goodbye, and how to watch
The new schedule also means a departure. Dirt City in Lena, Wisconsin, will no longer host the series after the sale of the land the track operated on. "Dirt City became a special stop because of the people behind it," Schubitzke said.
Every round streams live on FloRacing.com, and highlight coverage airs nationwide on FOX Sports. For tickets and broadcast updates, check Champ's official announcement and champoffroad.com. Champ's event pages currently list tickets as coming soon.
