I've recently purchased the motorcycle helmet kit. I plugged this into a Baofeng handheld and it worked great dessert riding. I have PCI/Kenwood products in the SXS, truck, base station and now on moto. The most reliable radio system we've used. Having communications is a must for being out. Forget about spotty cell coverage or trying to decide how long to wait for somebody before going to look for them. Don't waste your money on cheap handhelds, just start here and build your packages as you go. And the service is top notch, very helpful staff any time I've needed to call them.
Just like everything else I buy from pci, its priced right, works as intended and the customer service is second to none.
What a difference it makes riding with these. No more waiting to see if a buddy shows up, no more trying to catch someone who went the wrong way. Talk trash while your riding. I sound like a salesman, but I just love having them while we ride.
Installed it and it works great, speaker sound great. Had to customize the speaker a bit to fit a 6D dirt bike helmet, but nonetheless, sounds fantastic. Hot Glue gun is the way to go for installation.
After two yrs of dealing with other Brand radio/Bluetooth system, Hands down PCI Trax Plus works flawlessly out of the box. Thank you Baja Racing Gear
