Meet the Ignik Skullet
One of the products we're most excited about is the Ignik Skullet Portable Heater Stove.
The Skullet combines two pieces of camp equipment into one compact system: a propane heater and a cooking platform.
Producing up to approximately 48,000 BTUs with 360-degree heat, the Skullet can become the center of camp when temperatures drop. Add Ignik's cast-iron cooking surface and it becomes a large cooking station capable of handling breakfast, dinner or just about anything else you want to throw on it.
For anyone already fighting for cargo space inside a UTV, truck or overland rig, having equipment capable of doing more than one job makes a lot of sense.
It's exactly the kind of product we like: pack less and do more.
Bring the Campfire Without Hauling Firewood
Ignik's FireCan lineup takes another camping staple and makes it considerably easier to transport.
Instead of hauling firewood and building a traditional ground fire, the FireCan provides a compact propane-powered campfire contained inside a rugged, packable enclosure.
The original FireCan measures only about 12 x 6 x 7.5 inches, yet produces approximately 38,000 BTUs of heat. Folding legs, a removable lid and a quick-connect propane hose make setup and breakdown simple.
For overlanders and off-roaders, the biggest advantage may simply be the form factor. When every inch of cargo space matters, being able to pack your fire pit into something roughly the size of an ammo can is hard to beat.
Ignik also offers different versions of the FireCan, including models that expand on the original concept with additional features for cooking and camp use.
Important: Always check current local fire restrictions before using any flame-producing device. Regulations vary by location and conditions, and propane fire pits may still be prohibited during certain restrictions.
A Better Way to Carry Propane
Of course, cooking and propane fire pits need fuel.
That's where Ignik's Gas Growler systems come in.
Rather than relying exclusively on disposable one-pound propane bottles, the Gas Growler lineup provides refillable propane tanks designed specifically with camping and outdoor use in mind.
Ignik offers several sizes, including compact systems that are much easier to integrate into an overland or camping setup than carrying a traditional full-size barbecue cylinder.
Pair one with a FireCan or Skullet and you've got a reusable fuel system capable of powering multiple pieces of camp equipment.

We're selective about the products and brands we bring into Baja Racing Gear.
Our roots are in Baja racing and off-road equipment, but our customers don't stop adventuring when the race ends or the vehicle gets parked.
